Phipps Youth Climate Advocacy Committee Presents Youth Eco-Action Showcase


On Wed., April 16, Phipps Conservatory’s Youth Climate Advocacy Committee hosted their 2025 Youth Eco-Action Showcase. This annual showcase is the culmination of the committee’s annual activities, which include regular meetings, collaborations with other passionate youth, leadership and project planning skill-building, environmental and climate justice education opportunities and more.
At the showcase, the Committee’s members unveiled their respective projects, which covered topics including environmental education, community tree planting, sustainable fashion, riparian zone restoration, bird conservation, green energy promotion, conservation and sustainable gardening. In addition to tabling and a live fashion show, the showcase also debuted Metamorphosis: A Sustainable Art Gallery and Fashion Showcase, presented in collaboration with the Carnegie Mellon University Sustainability Initiative.
