The Climate Toolkit Symposium 2026

We are thrilled to announce the dates and location of Climate Toolkit Symposium 2026, which will be held Oct. 28 – 30, 2026 at Duke Farms in Hillsborough, New Jersey.

Museums, public gardens, zoos, aquaria, science centers and nature institutions have a critical role to play in the climate conversation. This fall, the Toolkit will present our annual in-person symposium to catalyze collaboration, peer learning, mentorship, and implementation of climate solutions — this time in the beautiful 2,700-acre living laboratory of Duke Farms, a Center of the Doris Duke Foundation.

This year’s Climate Toolkit Symposium will feature plenary presentations and panels on ecological restoration and land use, institutional decarbonization, climate research and communication, na visitor and community engagement, with breakouts to focus in on additional climate action goals and initiatives. Tours of the Duke Farms campus and its sustainable features will also be presented. More details to follow soon, including ticketing information and a call for session proposals. Please mark your calendars — we look forward to creating another unforgettable experience with you!
