Earlier this year, Conservaci\u00f3n Internacional de Jardines Bot\u00e1nicos (BGCI)<\/strong> launched the Declaration of Intent on Climate Action Education<\/a>.<\/strong> Developed through a series of workshops at the 11th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens in Seoul, the Declaration outlines seven commitments that all cultural institutions can make to address climate change challenges through education and community impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Museo de la Tierra<\/strong>, a natural history museum in Ithaca, NY, has been engaged in climate action education for years. Utilizing multiple platforms including school intervention programs, curriculum design, teacher professional development, a permanent climate change exhibit, and the Earth@Home<\/a><\/strong> online portal, Museum of the Earth is dedicated to empowering visitors, teachers, and community to take climate action and spark positive change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
